In the Beginning
- Freda Crump’s culinary journey began in 1991 when her father, Donald Crump, opened his first soul food restaurant in Memphis, TN.
- With over 25 years of cooking experience, Freda’s passion led her from Memphis to Los Angeles, where she launched Miss Crumpy’s catering company.
- She later relocated to Atlanta, GA, where she opened her 1st of 2 restaurants and Catering Services while continuing to refine her culinary skills.
- In 2020, Freda brought Miss Crumpy’s to Memphis, opting for a food truck rather than a traditional brick-and-mortar restaurant.
- Within two years, Miss Crumpy’s food truck became one of Memphis’ favorite culinary spots.

- Expanding our Healthy Plates meal prep program to serve more seniors and health-conscious consumers, integrating dietitian-approved menus, and partnering with healthcare organizations.
- Growing our grocery store operations, opening multiple locations to serve food deserts, and increasing SNAP accessibility for underserved communities.
